Wildlife Garden

Sundorne Infant School, Shrewsbury. 2009

Artist's residency at Sundorne Infant School. Landscape, environment and nature themes were developed through art workshops with the children and parents. The children's artwork was incorporated into sculptural features for the garden. These include a carved tree with glass sculptures of local wildlife, a viewpoint spiral mound displaying a stainless steel disc engraved with local landmarks and distances and an evolution themed footprint path.

The garden received a Merit award in the Britain in Bloom Competition for community gardens.
